"As founder of the Miss Ionia County Scholarship Program, my priority is to provide scholarships to the young women of Ionia County! By making available a program that encourages independence, strengthens confidence, and widens the abilities of the people involved, the community will have another opportunity to come together and celebrate what matters most. The future of our next generation." I was born and raised in Florida, after traveling and living in multiple areas of the U.S., somehow I ended up in the small town of Ionia MI. I now live with my wonderful boyfriend, Mike, and have 2 amazing young boys that I proudly co-parent with my ex-husband. I have a wide range of pageant experience along with management and community service. I'm so happy to be able to contribute to such a fun opportunity!

I am honored to be able to participate in a program that will bring the community together in supporting the future of their young women. I am the second eldest of 8 children. My husband of 17 years, Scott, is the youngest of 8 children. Between the two of us, we have 7 children and 10 grandchildren. We are outdoor enthusiasts by love of exploring nature. Places I have visited include Washington D.C., New York (sang in Carnegie Hall when the twin towers were still standing), Georgia, California, Iowa (lived and gave birth to my second son), Vegas (2 times for work conventions), Canada (have a cabin there- my husband grew up spending every summer at his Mother’s Lodge in Canada) and visited many cities in Michigan (working on a Michigan bucket list). Unfortunately, due to covid we were unable to do our Europe trip this last year. Which included visiting two friends of mine I have continued a friendship with from the time frame they were foreign exchange students at my high school to now. I have 29 years of experience working with the public. Through hard work, I have achieved success in every avenue I chose to follow. Gained great leadership skills through dedication, focus and consistency. Which is why I believe in this pageant and I am excited to be a part of a program that gives that opportunity towards success to others!
